Felted lights by Hélène Magnússon in Reykjavik

My neighbour had wondered all sumer what beautiful red flowers I was growing in my window. When winter darkness came back, I lightened the flowers. My neighbour couldn´t believe her eyes and I sold her my first ever felted light. Since then, I´ve been making quite a lot of them in all sorts of colors.

Each flower is handmade with the unique Icelandic wool: it shines, gives a warm light and is not flammable. I take a particular care in making flowers in different shapes and sizes in order to give the light liveliness.
